Food plays an integral role in the health of both staff and the patients at Scottish Rite. In order to improve healthy outcomes for all, CHOA Scottish Rite embarked on a large-scale renovation to its main dining facility.
Fresh, Healthy, and Efficient
Working with our partners, we developed a program that offered multiple different food venues, similar to a foodhall, creating variety and operational efficiency. In addition, our design included a Grab-and-Go option that provides quick, healthy meals for guests in a hurry.
Personal Attention
Interaction with staff and guests is crucial within any healthcare facility and at CHOA Scottish Rite, it's no different. The importance of developing relationships between the kitchen and hospital guests is crucial to improving outcomes.
Designing food venues that are open, show cooking on display, and have pass-through windows to outdoor dining provide opportunities for chefs and guest to interact and help reinforce healthy choices.
